MY DAY ON A PLATE Oliver Tompsett star of the musical Wicked

10.30am Get up late because of the show's late finish. Watch some TV, then do eggs on toast.
I sometimes make a fruitsmoothie. Having the day free allows me to go for a run or play badminton.
A lazy day like today includes a coffee in Chiswick
1pm Pick up the new album and grab a chicken wrap for lunch
2pm Arrive at my brother's house to listen to the album, then I need a sugar fix. Have a twix. Then a banana and a pear.
I have fruit and water throughout the day because I'm on stage for three hours under bright lights and the costumes weigh a ton so you sweet loads.
6.30pm Warm up, then get costumes. During the show we have sweets or chocolates. We don't worry about our voices like opera singers!
10.20pm Show ends. I buy veg, meat and pasta and I have dinner around 11.15pm. Not having to be up for a nine-to-five job, I often grab dinner and a drink with the cast.
2am Bed.

NIGEL DENBY, DIETICIAN Oliver's body demands fuel throughout the day to prepare for the show in the evening. Although he relies on confectionery for quick energy he chooses well at mealtimes, with plenty of fruit, veg, lean proteins and complex carbs such as pasta and wraps. It just goes to show that, if you put enough out, you can put plenty in and still watch your weight.
