The first thing Alexandra saw was a gorgeous pair of brown eyes. She swallowed audibly. The eyes blinked and smiled at her. She tried to turn around the other way, but she could hardly tear herself away from those eyes. When a sharp pain stopped her dead in her tracks, she groaned and reached for her side.

“Careful sweetie, you’re hurt.”

The voice sounded familiar. Alexandra turned her head around and stared in to another set of beautiful eyes. These were hazel coloured, but just as lovely.

“Where did you guys go shopping? Gorgeous eyes-R-us?”

She still sounded out of breath. She could hear Kami covering a laugh up with a cough.

“If you are making jokes, you can’t be that hurt.”

Alexandra suddenly realised she hadn’t been lying flat on the boat. She looked over her shoulder and realised she was lying in someone’s lap. Her eyes flew open as she tried to scramble away.

"What is going on here? Where are we?"

The muscle man let her go, but kept his hands close to her so that he could catch her, was she to fall. The tall guy shot him a look. They looked at each other for several silent seconds.

"At the moment we are somewhere in the ocean in a boat. We don't know exactly where we are."

Alexandra grabbed her side and leaned back against the side of the boat. She could finally take a good look at her fellow survivors. She knew Kami and Kaylea of course, but there were three guys and a baby more. She knew two of the guys and stared at them in total shock.

"You are kidding me right? I'm dreaming. That's it, this is all a dream."

The muscle man grinned at her.

"When's the last time you felt pain in a dream?"

Alexandra snorted at him.

"Actually I feel pain in my dream a lot."

Muscle man and tall guy looked at each other and then at Kami and Kaylea. Kaylea looked the other way quickly, trying to hold her laugh. Kami shrugged.

"What can I say; she is a very active dreamer. You should see the bruises she wakes up with."

Tall guy looked at Alexandra, who stared back at him from behind a curtain of her hair. Muscle man looked from one to the other and shook his head.

"We have to find some dry land."
