Two days had past and the group was running out of water. They all knew that drinking sea water wasn't an option. So they were all on the look out for anything that could save them. A boat, another airplane, it didn't matter to them what came first. As long as they were saved.
Kami licked her lips, they were dry and cracked. The sun had blistered her lips like a ripe melon. She knew that if this kept up, the blisters would soon burst.
"At least we have some tissues."
She whispered the words to herself and made sure she put some tissues in her pocket, just in case. Jamie had been staring at her for the last half hour. Kami gave him a look.
"What?"
The anger in Kami’s voice startles Jamie. He looked around for a moment before settling his eyes back on Kami. Who was still waiting for an answer.
"I err... I was wondering if you wanted some chap stick."
Kami looked at him in shock.
"You mean you have had Chap Stick the whole time and you didn't even think to share it with anybody else?"
Jamie rubbed his neck and looked away from Kami's accusing look.
"Well, they always say you shouldn't share your chap stick or you could spread hepatitis."
He took at his chap stick and gave it to Kami. She snatched the Chap Stick and rubbed some of it on her lips.
"I think we can make an exception in this case, mister."
