It was the third day in the boat. Everybody was getting a little grumpy. The tiny space they had on the boat was just not enough for all of them. Kami and Jamie seemed to have had an argument of some sorts, but Alexandra hadn't heard it. They had both said it had been nothing and they were fine, but it just kept gnawing on her. But, in the end, she decided to let it go. If they were ready to talk, they would.

"Alex, sweetie, will you finally let me look at your injuries?"

Mark had been trying to look at it for it the last two days. At one point early that morning, Alexandra had woken up because something was tickling her. When she opened her eyes, Mark was trying to take her shirt out of jeans. She had screamed at him and he had scrambled backwards.

"Mark! How could you! You pig!"

Her screaming had awakened the others immediately. Baby Kerry had started crying and Kaylea was forced to quiet the baby. Oliver had taken Alexandra in his arms and glared at Mark.

"I was just trying to look at her injury! I didn't mean anything else."

Kami had launched herself at Mark. Jamie could barely keep her away from him. Mark threw up his arms in self defence. Kami punched him on the shoulder.
"You ever touch her again when she tells you not to, and I'll aim either higher or lower. Got that?!"

Mark simply nodded his head and everybody had been quiet for the rest of the day. They had eaten their food in silence. But in the beginning of the evening, Mark had asked Alexandra again to look at her injuries. Oliver had wrapped his arm around her.

"If she wants you too look at her injuries, she would ask you, now wouldn't she?"

Mark had given up and sat back against his side of the boat. Oliver bent his head close to Alexandra's ear.

"We will have to look at your injuries again. If you really cracked your rib, we need to tape it up."

Alexandra sighed and laid her head against Oliver's shoulder.

"I know, but I'm just too embarrassed. The bruise goes all the way from the bottom of my ribs up to my chest bone. It means I would have to get half naked. I just don't do casual nudity."
