Kerry Sarah had been crying for the last ten minutes. Oliver had woken up as well and had put his hands against his ears.

"Isn't there anyway to make her stop crying?"

Mark was walking around with little Kerry in circles, rubbing her back and making soothing noises.

"I've tried feeding her but she wasn't hungry. I checked if she needed a diaper change, but that wasn't it either."

He sat down next to Alexandra and grabbed the baby bag. He wanted to open it, but couldn't manage it with one hand. He held out the baby to Alexandra.

"Can you hold her while I check for a toy or something?"

Alexandra sighed and held her arms out for the baby. As soon as Mark placed the baby in her arms, she stopped crying. Alexandra looked down at the baby, who was looking at her with big eyes. Oliver lowered his hands.

"She stopped crying."

Alexandra looked at him and then at Mark, who was looking at her with a big smile. Alexandra started to shake her head.

"No way. No freaking way! I'm not going to hold the baby! Me and babies don't go together."

She handed the baby to Oliver, but Kerry started crying again. She handed it to Jamie, but the baby cried as well. Only when Jamie gave the baby back to Alexandra was she silent.
