Oliver looked at the clothing and then at his legs.
“I can’t get these pants on by myself.”
Alexandra crawled over to him while the others were busy. She took the pants out of his hands and looked him in the eyes.
“I’ll help you.”
Oliver stared at her for a few minutes then nodded slowly. Alexandra opened the pants for him and slid them around his feet. She looked up at Oliver for a second.
“You’ll have to raise your body of the ground so I can slide them all the way up.”
Alexandra bit her lower lip as Oliver leaned on his arms. She quickly slid his pants all the way up and blushed when her hands brushed his shorts. She closed her eyes and gave that last tug that brought his pants in place. Oliver laid his hand on her shoulder. Alexandra opened her eyes and looked up at him. His face was only inches away.
“You can let go now.”
He whispered to her. She looked down and noticed she was still holding on to the pants. She quickly released him and sat back on her knees. Oliver smiled at her and buttoned up the pants.
“Thanks. I’ll remember that.”
Alexandra’s eyes widened. What would he remember? That she was too embarrassed with helping him? At that point she just wished the earth would open up and swallow her. She gave him a quick smile and crawled over to Kami and the suitcase.
“So what else is in here?”
She tried to sound as nonchalant about it as she could. Kami on the otherhand wasn't listening to Alexandra.
"Kami? What is it? What's wrong?"
Kami reached in to the suitcase and pulled out a long knife. Everybody dropped what they were doing and looked at the knife. Kami looked at Alexandra.
"This is a machete, right?"
Alex nodded and looked at the knife. She held out her hand and Kami gave it to her.
"How does anyone bring a machete in to an airplane? How does this go through customs?"
Alexandra made a few movements with the machete.
"With a carrying permit, I guess. if that suitcase is reall leather, then I'm sure it belonged to the guy that sat next to me. He gave me the creeps."
